Olivier Faure has just concluded his speech for the National Council of the Socialist Party where the leaders of the party will be called to vote in a few moments on the burial of the agreement on the New Ecological and Social Popular Union.
The First Secretary of the Socialist Party tried to play the positive points in favor of the unionists (like him), with a unifying speech. The future of the NUPES is now in the hands of this Council.
It is worth noting, however, that the room was agitated between supporters of Mr. Faure and supporters of the "let's walk alone".
