Homelessness; What to know and How to help?

Homelessness also known as a state of being unhoused or unsheltered is the condition of lacking stable, safe and housing. people are dividing if they are,

  • Living on the streets.

  • Have no permanent house or place to live.

  • Moving between temparally shelters.

  • Persons live as refugees within their country's boarders.

The rights of people are experiencing homeless also differ from country to country. Homeless and poverty are interrelated. There is no methodical consensus on counting homeless people and identifying their needs in most cities. only estimated homeless populations are known.

The basic problems of homelessness is need for their personal shelter and some of them are,

  • Obtaining , preparing and storing foods.

  • Cleaning and drying cloths.

  • Sanitary facilities.

  • Personal security

there are many causes to making these kinds of homeless people, poverty is a significant factor in homelessness alleviation of poverty , as a result plays an essential role in eliminating homelessness. providing access to education and employment to low- income families and individuals must also be considered to combact poverty and preventing homelessness.

Most of the people who use homeless shelters on a frequent basics face multiple problems. such as incresed prevalence of physical and mental health problems, disabilities, poverty. it is apparent that a comprehensive solution to homelessness must include an effective approach to providing healthcare for them.


People experiencing homelessness face many challengers. beyond the lack of safe and suitable home. they are often faced with reduced access to private and public servicers.

  • Not being seen for employment.

  • Reduced access to banking servicers.

  • Reduced access to healthcare servicers.

A history of experiencing domestic violence can also attribute to homelessness. compared to household women, homeless women were more. likely to report childhood histories of abuse, the experiences of homelessness women in poverty are often overlooked.

While some people are known to have a community with one another, providing each other various types of support , people who are not homeless also may provide them friendship , related care and assistance. And we can enter targeted training programmes and increased access to employ oppertunities that can help homeless people to develop their lifes.
