Turkey-Syria earthquakes; victims struggle to survive with freezing and homeless.

The sounds of hurrying hands and heavy equipment working to fine signs of life continues more than a week since two major earthquakes which happened in southeastern region of Turkey along the border with Syria ,on February 6 th..


In this, area the earthquakes flattered numerous buildings, trapping residents under the freezing temperatures. those hopeful moments, punchuate the silent searchers which have ended in the recovery of a body. hopes for future rescues are diminishing. when delaying international aid and assistance due to closed borders and roads destroyed by this disaster have compounded the challengers.

Rescuers and racing against time, working in the snow and freezing temperatures are flattered by the earthquakes. The world Health Organization has warned that more than 23 million people are affected by these earthquakes. one of the victim in turkey, said about her experience like this, ''we are safe as much as a tent can protect us the children are cold at night, This children scared as soon as the tent shakes, and runs towards and asked is it happening again.."


Hatay is one of the worst hit of the 11 provinces in turkey, and the both two countries death roll is reaching over 45,000 .Along with the victims ,the UN has annouced 940,million euros in humanitarian appeals for turkey. The funding would be cover by 3 months and assist 5.2 million people who have lost their everything.
